Collaborative Research Centers

The DFG (German Research Foundation) currently supports five Collaborative Research Centers (CRCs) with spokespersons at University Medical Center Göttingen (UMG). UMG institutions are involved in seven CRCs.

Collaborative Research Centers support by the DFG are long-term university-based research institutions, established for up to 12 years, in which researchers work together within a multidisciplinary. innovative research program. The proposed CRC/Transregio (TRR), up to three universities are collaborating on one joint research goal.
